Why are there so many reflective sheeting choices?

What information do you need to place my street name sign order?
There are a wide variety of options available for street name signs, including aluminum and sheeting types, colors, lettering styles, and even custom details, such as borders, logos and holes. Click here to learn more about the many options we offer.
How can I prevent sign theft in my community?
Hall Signs is proud to offer a line of vandal-resistant hardware that is compatible with sign-to-post installations; we can also substitute vandal-resistant hardware for the standard hardware in our sign brackets. The most popular models in our best-selling lines of 5 ½” Supr-Lok™ and 12” Ultra Supr-Lok™ sign brackets are now standard with vandal-resistant hardware. I ordered a 24" triangle blank, but the aluminum I received is closer to 21". Is this correct?
Yes. The measurements for our aluminum blanks are determined before the radius is cut. After the radius cut, a triangle or pennant blank will measure smaller than it appears. These blanks are then measured from the "phantom points." See our aluminum page for further information.

Ordering and Payment

I'm interested in getting a price for a custom sign. Can I get a proof prior to placing an order?
We offer a FREE paper sample with one revision prior to order placement. All subsequent revisions will be charged an artroom fee of $25.
Can I place an order online?
Unfortunately, we do not support online ordering at this time. In order to provide the best in quality, service, and delivery we prefer that you contact us directly to discuss the numerous options we have available.
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes. We have a $50 minimum order. Orders below this minimum will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is waived for government accounts using a purchase order.
What types of payment do you accept?
We offer Net 30 terms to those customers who fill out our credit application and are approved. Standard terms are 30 days from the date of the invoice. A 2% finance charge is added to all past due invoices, and accounts with past due balances are put on credit hold. New accounts not extended Net 30 terms are COD on stock items and check in advance or credit card on non-stock items.

Shipping and Delivery

What is the difference between F.O.B. Destination and F.O.B. Ship Point?
F.O.B. Ship Point means that you will be responsible for all freight charges from our facility to the shipping location and it will be a line item on your invoice. F.O.B. Destination means that we pay all freight charges from our facility to the shipping location and there are no additional charges added to your invoice.
What should I do if my package looks damaged?
Check all merchandise carefully upon receipt of your order. All discrepancies must be noted on the carrier delivery receipt and reported to Hall Signs within 48 hours. Should you discover any hidden damage after delivery, contact the carrier immediately and request that they complete an inspection report. Then contact our Customer Service department to report the problem.

Returns

I have a problem with my shipment and would like to return it. Can I send it back to you?
No merchandise may be returned without approval from your Customer Service Representative. Goods returned without authorization will be rejected at the receiving dock. Please call ahead to get approval & call tag information before returning any item. You must also obtain an RMA number from us, which must be clearly marked on all packages prior to return.
I’ve been authorized for a return. How should I repack the merchandise to ship it back?
Please package all merchandise in the same manner as you received it. On finished signs or faces, take extra care, as these are more fragile. Make sure that you include slip-sheeting between each piece. Do not tape sign blanks together (this will ruin the finish).
Do you charge a restocking fee?
Yes. Our standard restocking charge is 15%. Please contact your Customer Service Representative for special consideration when needed.
When can I expect to receive a credit for the returned merchandise?
All credits against the return merchandise will be given after we have received, verified the quantity and made sure that there is no damage to the merchandise due to negligence on the part of the customer.
